Top 10 videos of 2013: Q1
Design Indaba's 10 most-watched videos for the first three months of 2013 include an array of exciting footage from Design Indaba 2013 and 2012. From the Conference we have an interview with artist and innovator Daan Roosegaarde and speaker talks by Andrew Shoben (34 min), Dan Pearson (38 min), Andy Chen (10 min) and Sputniko! (8 min). The interviews with our Expo award winners of the Most Creative Stand and the Innovation Award are audience favourites each year. We featured highlights of the Design Indaba FilmFest that was held over two weeks in Cape Town earlier this year. The music video of Japanese band Sour's "Hibi no Neiro" (Tone of Everyday), from their first mini album Water Flavor EP, created by Masashi Kawamura, also came up in our top 10. Lastly we created the official app trailer for Petting Zoo by Christoph Niemann – a project the globally renowned illustrator created in collaboration with Design Indaba, which was launched at the 2013 Conference in Cape Town on 1 March.
