INTERACT / Design Indaba 1999

28 October 1999 - 29 October 1999

The line-up of the third Design Indaba Conference in 1999, which included Lewis Blackwell, Terry Jones, Oliviero Toscani and David Carson, positioned the Design Indaba as a growing event on the international circuit. While still driving for the revival of the local creative industries and seeking to bolster these to a level that overshadowed the product economy, increasingly, the event started taking on a more international flavour.
