Best of Design Indaba Festival 2015
Named by some as Cape Town's unofficial design week, the ten-day Design Indaba Festival is the ultimate experience of the beating pulse of creativity, with a focus on the South African, African and global landscape across the Design Indaba platform.
The three-day Conference shares ideas from the world's top creative thinkers and doers. The four-day Expo showcases creative products, designs and artworks local to South Africa, with a special feature on the creative undercurrent of the greater African content. The ten-day FilmFest screens documentaries, feature films and shorts about a vast range of creative fields, most of which are premieres to Africa. The Music festival is a celebration of the sounds of our country, with increasing performances by African and global artists. This year also saw a special addition of art features that included William Kentridge's performance of Refuse the Hour.
We covered the best of the festival live from the heart of the action – so if you missed it or want to relive it, here are the best stories we discovered.
