Nendo has turned its attention to our furry friends and designed a three-piece accessory collection that meets all a stylish pup’s needs.
Japanese design studio Nendo’s Heads or Tails collection comprises a dog bed, dishes and toys, all of which can be used in two ways. The artificial leather bed becomes a little hut when dogs burrow inside it, and a cushion when they lie on top of it. The ceramic dishes are reversible with a shallow dish for food on one side and a deeper dish for water on the other. A silicone rubber “bone” can be reshaped into a ball by tucking in the two ends.
As a result of looking for a form that could be stable in two different shapes, the collection is constructed of triangular panels connected in polygon mesh, says Nendo founder Oki Sato.
The collection was created for Japanese lifestyle magazine Pen and is available in black or white.
