Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka has collaborated with Italian furniture manufacturer Moroso for an installation “Twilight” and a series of chairs titled “Moon”.
The works will be showcased at the Moroso showroom at the Milan Design Week, running from 12 to 17 April 2011.
By releasing infinite light rays into the white space, Twilight creates a scene similar to the way light breaks through a cloud and the crepuscular rays pour onto the ground. Crepuscular rays is a beautiful natural phenomenon known as “angel’ s ladder”.
This heavenly light also profiles the Moon chair. By reflecting the light of the chair’s surface, the beauty of the textures are able to come to the forefront.
