In the hustle and bustle of today’s fast-paced lifestyle, time for peace, tranquillity and reflection is often hard to come by. French designer Matali Crasset’s "Deep Attention and Sleep" bay aims to give users a convenient space where they are able to shut out the world and fall into deep relaxation.

"Deep Attention and Sleep" is a bay conceived for deep attention. It’s an intimate and embracing both time and space to cultivate your own interests, says Crasset.

The bay can be used for either a quiet work or nap pod and is made up of several parts that can be reconfigured as desired. Set in the upright position the back panel can be removed and laid on the floor as a mattrass, while the writing surface in the bay can be removed to become a low tray. "Deep Attention and Sleep" also comes with a small ottoman with storage pocket that can be used as a seat when using the pod for work.

Crasset designed the relaxation bay for Italian company Campeggi and will be on show at Salone del Mobile in Milan until 13 April 2014.
