Occupying 35 000 square meters, the Sankt Kjelds Square and Bryggervangen is one of Copenhagen’s newest parks.
It was designed to mitigate the effects of sudden and heavy rainfall in a city that averages 170 rainy days per year.
It won the 2020 Arne of the Year – Copenhagen’s most respected prize for architecture.
