Front, a group of Swedish product designers, are particularly interested in objects and the ways in which people interact with them and ascribe meaning to them. They talk about using animals as collaborative partners in the design process, reading objects and designing without materialising the actual object.
Front are interested in how different aspects of the design process impact on the final outcome of the design. In various projects they look at how context affects the way an object is viewed and experienced.
