Tucker Viemeister

BusinessWeek's "guru", overachiever Tucker Viemeister also founded Smart Design and is a fellow of Industrial Designers Society of America.

With 32 US utility patents behind his name, as well as a host of outstanding achievements, BusinessWeek calls Tucker Viemeister "Guru". He is a Fellow of the Industrial Designers Society of America, serves on the Board of Directors of the Architectural League of New York, is chair of the Rowena Reed Kostellow Fund and president of the International Design Network Foundation.

Viemeister also founded Smart Design, where he helped design the widely acclaimed OXO GoodGrips universal kitchen tools. He adopts a mixed approach to his design by combining enjoyment with responsibility and business with culture. His clients include Corning, Apple, J&J, P&G, Timex, Levi 's, Motorola, Vodafone, Unilever, Coca-Cola, Nike, Toyota and Kate Spade. He is presently Lab Chief of Rockwell Group in New York.
