• DIY (Design Indaba Youth) Programme 2012

Design Indaba Expo 2012 welcomes creatively enthused youth to the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 2 to 4 March 2012.

The DIY (Design Indaba Youth) programme at Design Indaba Expo offers our youngest visitors the opportunity to get their hands dirty (in a creative way, of course) by participating in a range of hands-on workshops.

There’s something for everyone, from designing an event poster to programming a Lego robot to jamming with art. And there’s something to appeal to teenagers and younger children.

Now in its third year, the presenters for this year’s programme include designer Heath Nash, artist Lecia de Waal, musician Jeremy Loops, illustrator/graphic artist/toy maker Kronk and street artist Selah.

Presented by DStv, the programme introduces young people to the fun of design, while highlighting its endless possibilities.

Prices include all materials, unless otherwise stated. Programme subject to change.

All workshops take place at the DStv DIY Zone at the Design Indaba Expo at the Cape Town International Convention Centre. Please note that the workshops presented by ArtJamming will take place in the ArtJamming area of the DIY Zone.
