This watch by Japanese digital technology brand Fashion Entertainments is made completely out of electronic paper that is blank until the wearer moves. The watch appears black until the wearer lifts their arm to check the time, and then the display comes to life.

GRID sofa by Studio Pool

Modular design and geometric elements come together in this sofa by Paris-based Studio Pool for Petite Friture, an edited collection of work by emerging designers. The cushions, backrests and armrests can be configured in numerous different ways atop a walnut wooden base.

The ever-playful French designer deconstructs the sofa into an endlessly adjustable seating system that can be dismantled into portable sections.

Kayo extensible table and Assaya armchair by Satyendra Pakhalé

The Indian industrial designer launched two products at Salone del Mobile: the glass tabe for FIAM with an extendable mechanism embedded in its legs and an armchair, pouf, side table and laptray for Poltrona Frau.
