Part of the Project
Design IndaBar, presented by Chivas, is a place where ideas marinate. It is an outlet to unwind and discuss the day’s inspiration offered by the Design Indaba speakers. IndaBar is where creative conversations continue, networking happens, connections are made, collaborations are formed and deals are struck.
In 2016, Design IndaBar will transform the Artscape’s Arts Café, situated at the top area of the piazza, into a beacon of creative exchange. The part bar, part art installation will be a hub of musical and theatrical performances and will set the mood and enhance IndaBar’s already prolific effect. The next great ideas will be hatched here.
This year at the Festival, we want to find those special extras to leave our audience in a state of perpetual awe and wonder. What better way to do that than with music and performance?
Music is a profound creative catalyst, as well as an intricate design form itself. And ReVel Productions in association with New Moon Collective and Zip Zap Circus have created a magical performance narrative that will unfold over the three nights of IndaBar.
This is unlike anything you have ever experienced!
The Design IndaBar, presented by Chivas, will take place nightly from 17 to 19 February. The event will be open to the public (for R50 entry) on 18 and 19 February from 17:00.
