Spontaneous storage

The Bouroullec Brothers present a new sophisticated storage system, "Corniches", for Vitra at the Milan Design Week.

The Bouroullec Brothers, Ronan and Erwan, designed the “Corniches” range of storage objects for furniture manufacturer Vitra. Corniches will be on show at the Milan Design Week from 17 to 22 April 2012.

Corniches is an illustration of the idea that an impromptu storage area can be created. The brothers identified a need for small storage spaces that can be used to easily, or “spontaneously” store various items.

Individual protrusions allow for different aspects of Corniches to be freely organised. The glossy pedestals of Cornishes are made of ABS and come in three sizes and a variety of colours.
