Last Call for entries for the 2017 A’ Design Awards

Designer? Architect? There’s still time for you to get your entries in.

There is still time for designers and architects to submit their entries for the annual A’ Design Awards. Featuring over a hundred different design disciplines into which you can submit your work – including industrial, architectural, interior, furniture, lighting, communication designs and more – entries for the 2016-2017 edition are set to close on February 28.

Considered one of the world’s largest design accolades, the 2016 ceremony saw over 1200 winners from 88 countries. Established to promote and recognise the best design works across the world in all creative disciplines, the aim of the competition is to create a global awareness and understanding for good design practices and principles by showcasing the best in design.

Entries are carefully evaluated by an international jury panel of academics, design professionals and press members, and this year there are 83 jury members who will be looking into the design submissions and evaluating each entry.

In addition to fame, prestige, credibility, recognition and international publicity, the laureates of the A’ Design Award & Competition also receive an exclusive trophy and excellence certificate, an invitation to the glamorous Gala Night ceremony and exhibition of winners’ works. Each winner of the A’ Design Award also receives an extensive PR campaign individually prepared for every project, lifetime license to use the “award winner” logo, and an assortment of other ‘Winner Services’.

To see some of last year’s winners and their outstanding projects, look through our gallery above or visit the A’Design Website, which showcases the full range of past winners.

Final deadline for submissions is 28 February 2017 and winners will be announced on April 15. All entries must have been designed within the last 10 years. You can see the past winners in all the categories by visiting the A’Design Website. A selection of this year's winners would be published at Design Indaba on 15 April 2017.
