Founded by French designer Matthieu Muller, Studio Fantasio’s has created a kid-friendly electronics kit that lets small children animate their own cardboard creations with moving parts.

Called Animate, it consists of a gentle entry into robotics that gives life to children’s imaginative creations.

The toolkit was created for children between the ages of 6 to 10 and allows them to animate their own animations.

What’s all in the kit?

  • 8 electronic components including a battery, a vibrator, a buzzer, an ultrasonic sensor, two DC motors and two LED lights.

  • A safe blade knife to cut cardboard easily. A set of connectors to attach cardboard and components together. Three sizes of cables to plug the components to the battery.
