French designer Matali Crasset has completed the interior of La Maison des Petits (House for the Little Ones) at the 104 Centquatre arts centre in Paris. The venue aims to provide a public space where children can exercise their creativity and is divided into distinct areas for children of different ages and abilities. Furnished with freestanding, mushroom-like structures, a sky-blue shell makes the space luminous, while an artificial garden offsets the industrial character of the place. Lowered stools ensure that parents sit at the same level as their children.
