Casual form

Karim Rashid's new Juga chair is the ideal fit for the human form, and speaks to the needs of the contemporary, "casual" age.

Karim Rashid was asked to play and that is exactly what he did with the new Juga chair for Muma.

The flow of the chair was designed with the human form in mind, while Rashid also took “the spirit of our casual age” into consideration.

Rashid explains that he loves the way that, as a material, plastic can be playful and strong at the same time, as well as being colourful, comfortable, recyclable, warm and light, democratic and fluid.

In a nutshell the Juga chair is simple, sustainable, relaxed and playful.
