Alarming relief

“Punkt For Japan: Still Time to Help” is a special charity initiative aimed at aiding the reconstruction process in Japan following the earthquake of March 2011.

As part of the initiative, Jasper Morrison has redesigned his AC01 Punkt Alarm Clock with a red dial and a white body to represent Japan’s flag. The limited-edition design piece will be sold in the world’s foremost design shops.

All the profit from the sale of the clock will go towards the Maeami Village Reconstruction project that, together with Architecture for Humanity, is working to rebuild homes in this fishing village.
