Artist Gio Tirotto and curator Maria Cristina Didero installed 208 LED-illuminated, solar-powered buoys in Water Square near the arches of the ancient Bridge of Tiberius (completed in 20AD) in Rimini, Italy.
Representing the 208 separate nations of the world, the identical buoys demonstrate how we are all affected by the same events. Although the installation was on show until end January 2021, its message endures.
