Design Indaba Conference Speakers chat to 567 CapeTalk

Design Indaba 2012 speakers ignited the creative fires of conference delegates last week. Behind the scenes 567 CapeTalk chat to their programme highlights.

During Design Indaba 2012, held at the CTICC over 29 February to 4 March, 567 CapeTalk of Primedia caught some airtime with a small but diverse selection of the programme's esteemed conference speakers. Their talkshow host, Bianca Resnekov, sat down with them at the event to ask a few questions.

John Bielenberg, an American designer, is one of the creative minds behind projects like COMMON, FUTURE and Project M. He divulges on his personal mantra: Think wrong.

Paul Sahre is a New York graphic designer with a passion for monster trucks and designing book covers. He first spoke at Design Indaba in 2006 and joined the event again as a speaker in 2012.

Sissel Tolaas is the infamous Norwegian scent expert who has museum-goers sniffing walls to discover variations of human body odours (among others). Her work is the antidote to the narcissistic perfume industry.

Finally, Andrew Shoben is the British outdoor installation artist of Greyworld, whose work, one could say, seeks to increase the Gross Domestic Happiness. Its end goal is simply to make people smile.
