Design Indaba interviewed Piyush Pandey at the 2010 Conference. Creative director of Ogilvy and Mather, Mumbai, Pandey describes his approach to cracking advertising concepts, and to a charming set of ads for Vodafone that have proved an enormous success in India.
In 2004, Piyush became the first Asian to be the president of the Cannes jury. Piyush hates being called the "Godfather of Indian Advertising", a title often thrust upon him. He would rather be known as the Minister of Fun at O&M Advertising.
