Afghan-born designer Massoud Hassani draws much inspiration from his cultural heritage. Having been based in the Netherlands for some years now, Hassani has researched Afghan culture and designed a number of products, based on the research that relates to his homeland. Here he talks about collaborating with his brother on designing a device to remove dangerous landmines from the plains of Afghanistan. Hassani also shows the cookware range he designed that also incorporates Afghan influence.
