Morgan Spurlock’s film Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan’s Hope explores one of the biggest pop culture events, which takes place annually in America. What started as a fringe comic book convention for 500 fans quickly grew into a cultural phenomenon influencing various forms of entertainment. Today the event is attended by over 140 000 people. The film follows the lives of five attendees as they descend upon the ultimate geek mecca at San Diego Comic-Con 2010. The 88-minute documentary is presented by Stan Lee and Joss Whedon.
