Having worked on design projects such a Seven Chairs in Seven Days, Black Gold and the garlic crusher that won her a Red Dot Award, Ineke Hans believes that the future lies in doing what we like and keeping a playful outlook on design. In this talk Hans asks "where to from here?", for both herself and for design as a whole.
She looks at the signs and symbols we use to encode information, and which we interpret and attribute our own meaning to.
She also talks about starting her own design studio in Holland and the various processes involved in her own projects.
