Renée Rossouw on finding her own identity through design

Renée Rossouw reveals how her inspiration from urban environments plays a fundamental role in her unique design process.

Architect Renée Rossouw has increasingly become interested in product design. In this Pecha Kucha talk at Design Indaba Conference 2012, the UCT graduate reveals the designs and work she created during her time at the European Design Labs in Madrid, Spain. 

My main inspiration is urban environments and cities, says Rossouw.

Rossouw is attracted to buildings and patterns and draws on photographs she took around Cape Town to inspire her work.
