Mesh-merised

Tom Dixon's Mesh chair aspires to be almost invisible.

First seen at the Milan Furniture Fair last month, Tom Dixon’s Mesh chair for Italian furniture manufacturer Magis combines two different tooling processes.

The seat of the chair comprises a pressed metal mesh while an aluminium extrusion forms the frame.

Mesh aspired to be almost invisible, with its semi-transparent structure. The overall result is a visual lightness and delicate curves which make the seat not only comfortable but also ideal for use in the home or office.
