The new AlessiTab designed by Stefano Giovannoni is the ideal interactive, multimedia device for domestic spaces.

The AlessiTab is a brand new interactive multimedia tablet brought to you by Alessi and Promelit and smartly designed by Stefano Giovannoni.

Taking its cue from Google’s new open source android operating system, AlessiTab is designed for simple and versatile domestic use.

The pad seems to be best suited for use in the kitchen with features like digital TV, wi-fi, internet search, Facebook, Twitter and incorporated video camera. You can also watch movies, and listen to mp3 music files and web radio.

AlessiTab has a six hour battery life and comes with a docking station. Its applications have been carefully selected to offer a range of interactive services used in the home environment.

Stefano Giovannoni

Stefano Giovannoni has excelled as both an industrial and interior designer. At times graciously utilitarian, his plastic designs often exhibit an impish playfulness. His pop-coloured tableware for Alessi is a prize example. Fruit Mama, his deliriously quirky reinterpretation of the fruit bowl, also suggests his avant garde leanings.
