Beautiful bulb at Milan2011

Posted on March 26th 2011

Tom Dixon’s new Bulb proves that energy efficient lighting does not have to be ugly.

Tom Dixon’s latest creation challenges the idea of energy efficient lighting being unattractive. "Bulb" is an over-sized, energy efficient light bulb designed to provide an attractive alternative to its incandescent stepsister.

Bulb will be shown at the Milan Furniture Fair from 12 to 17 April 2011. The T5 bulb is unique to Dixon and it comes with a standard E27 thread so it can be used in almost any light fitting.

Bulb is available individually, or for a more aesthetically pleasing feature, they can be bundled together like a chandelier.
