Anomali Jewellery was founded in 2010 by Marlette Strauss and Moniek van Zyl, jewellery design graduates from Stellenbosch University. It is a jewellery brand that focuses on lost, forgotten treasures and turns them into new, and tiny, works of art. Inspired by children's pop-up books as well as a little bit of the macabre side of life, Strauss and Van Zyl create living stories and dioramas to be kept close to the heart. A little bit of eerie and a whole lot of whimsy gives each unique, handmade piece its own little stage and story.
