DI Expo 2014 Trends

Geometric patterns and shapes have been trending for quite some time. At this year's Design Indaba Expo triangles seemed to be the polygon of choice for many designers. Triangles were spotted in three-dimensional iterations like Kunle Adeyemi's Makoko Floating School, which has been nominated for Design Museum's Designs of the Year and SignArt's wall covering to zany zigzags found on fashion and decor items, and diamond-like shapes on packaging and clothing.
