The Tuscan town of Pietrasanta resembles a tattoo convention of a different order.
Replicas of marble masterpieces from Classical times to the Renaissance dot the town’s historic heart.
These would hardly be out of place were it not for all the “ink”.
Artist Fabio Viale has experimented with new forms of tattoo and stonework, applying designs created in collaboration with creative director Marcelo Burlon.
