A taste of Dakar with a touch of nostalgia

This recent winter campaign was shot by South African photographer Rudi Geyser against the backdrop of Dakar's old train station.

We recently featured the campaign film made by Pete Verster-Cohen for this Superbalist winter fashion campaign. Now we'd like to share the full gallery of images taken by Cape Town-based photographer Rudi Geyser. The Wes Anderson-inspired campaign was shot at Dakar's old train station in Senegal.

"Dakar is quite full on, but the people are all ridiculously beautiful and super colourful," says Geyser.

With board games, old school luggage and a nostalgia-inspired colour palette, the campaign has a strong sense of narrative and distinctive visual identity. And it does capture a sense of the Wes in Africa...
