Colour, simple repeat modules and clean geometry come together to create a cosy and vibrant interior for a new restaurant in Paris, France.
Recent recipient of the 2014 Maison et Objet Designer of the Year Award, Tom Dixon has completed the interior of the Eclectic restaurant in the heart of the city of love.
Drawing inspiration from 1970’s architecture, know for its experimentation with geometric design, pop art, postmodernism and early deconstructivism, Dixon’s interior plays with geometry and colour in all forms.
The experience is of warmth, colour and comfort, in a brutalist concrete environment, littered with custom-designed products, says Dixon.
The Eclectic restaurant features pendant lights, table lamps, chairs, tables and decorative objects all designed by Dixon, with many being taken from his well-received Eclectic collection.
The restaurant is run by Fabienne and Philippe Amzalak as well as Jean-Louis Costes.
