How do we make a dent in the universe?

Speaking at Design Indaba Conference in 2012, Tsai draws on the well-known Steve Jobs quote to discuss working in ways that can improve people's lives.

He talks about numerous social projects he has undertaken, such as Urban Mosaic (a winner of the Your Street Cape Town competition in 2011), Nested Bunk Beds (winner of MBOISA 2008) and Safmarine Sports Centre, explaining why he likes to enter competitions that allow him to design an improved life for the disadvantaged.

Design isn't for the privileged, says Tsai. Design can make a social impact.
