Top 10 February 2014

Here's a round up of the top ten stories on designindaba.com for February 2014.

It is little wonder that Design Indaba Conference and Expo related stories proved popular in February.

The big news for February was Thomas Heatherwick's unveiling of his concept design for the Silo at the V&A Waterfront. The poetic design sees him craving out a heart in the centre of the structure made up of concrete tubes.

Readers were also interested in the nominations for the Most Beautiful Object on South Africa nominations for 2014, this year's Emerging Creatives and the graduates that were participating in the Pecha Kucha session at Design Indaba Conference 2014.

Other stories that proved popular is a blog on the Vintage guru of Namibia, a feature on the identity of the South Africa comic industry and Expo exhibitor Calavera's embroidered skulls.

If you haven't read these highlight already, here's you chance to catch up on February's hot design news. Enjoy.
