The Cape Town Design Network 2010 launched on 24 March 2010. The first meeting was held in the new exhibition space of the Spier Contemporary 2010 at the City Hall. Award-winning industrial designers ...XYZ (Dot Dot Dot Ex Why Zed) kicked off the first event of the year with a presentation of their work, including the condom applicator and the Snuza Mobile Baby Breathing Monitor.
The Cape Town Design Network is an informal network enabling designers across different disciplines to interact and share ideas. Each session will see a different Cape Town-based designer/design team chatting about their design philosophy and practice. Occasional panel discussions of various aspects of the design industry can also be expected.
