G.D.I.B by Oded Ezer

Is bad design good or is good design bad? What is really good? Or is it all just really bad? Oded Ezer plays with this question in this short animation.

In Oded Ezer’s “G.D.I.B” work for the Bad Design exhibition at the 2012 Jerusalem Design Week good design was bad and bad design was good.

G.D.I.B (Good Design Is Bad) is an animated giff-like piece with the phrases “Good Design Is Bad” and “Bad Design Is Good” flickering repetitively, interspersed with commercial logos like Apple, Facebook and Coca-Cola, among others.

Together with the famous logos, signs of significant demonstrations, like Occupy Wall Street, also pop up sporadically.
