The Imiso Ceramics team of Andile Dyalvane, Zizipho Poswa and Lulama Sihluku has participated in the Design Indaba Expo for the past three years, starting out on a small stand sponsored by the dti and growing to take up their own larger space. Initially exhibiting enabled Imiso to access their market and gain exposure, while returning has been a driving factor in their continued growth. However, for Imiso, Design Indaba’s marriage of business and creative fields is not just about meeting new buyers but also about establishing them among their peers and encouraging professional collaborations.
