Coordinated by Charlie Todd of Improv Everywhere, a Mass Freeze took place at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town on Sunday 27 February 2011. At exactly 1pm everybody froze in their positions and stood dormant for five minutes and then simply resumed their activities as if nothing ever happened. At exactly 1:10pm everybody froze again. For Todd, it's all about creating scenes of joys and chaos in public places.
