SpeakerIn 2010 Joseph Saavedra completed his MFA in Design and Technology at Parsons the New School for Design. “Citizen Sensor” was his thesis project, and was recently awarded first place in the Köln International Design Preis. Saavedra is most interested in exploring the relationship between the human body and environment, specifically in terms of how we measure, feel and perceive our surroundings.
