Nendo’s latest creation is an aromatherapy candleholder for premium ice-cream brand Häagen-Dazs.

What does a candleholder have to do with ice-cream you ask? The Häagen-Dazs Aroma Cup is an all-white imitation of the paper cup in which the ice-cream comes.

Created as a gift item for Häagen-Dazs, the candle cup, lid and accompanying spoon have all been recreated in ceramics. The “melting ice-cream” detail has been added to further imitate a pot of vanilla ice-cream.

The candle inside this special holder gradually releases its essence as it melts, serving as a realistic reminder of the way a spoonful of vanilla ice-cream melts in one’s mouth.

When the candle isn’t lit, the lid can be closed and the spoon can be used as an aromatic oil diffuser.
