The SOLVE 2008 design competition has announced a three-way tie. Recognised for their environmentally, locally and culturally sensitive solutions to the challenge of designing a table, the three joint winners are Jenni Loppnow and Tara Carmichael from Design Time School of Interior Design, and Ntobeko Ximba from the AAA School of Advertising. Loppnow’s prototype was also selected to be manufactured by Weylandts design stores. See the winners and finalists at the Design Indaba Expo.
