Photographer Stan Engelbrecht’s German language follow-up to the very successful African Salad, Das is(s)t Deutschland was recently launched alongside the Homemade exhibition, at the Goethe Institute in Johannesburg. Exploring South African and German taste, the exhibition featured authentic family recipes, photographs and personal odds and ends, which  were eerily and humorously reflective of real people.
