Moveable Type is a fully functional letterpress printing shop – inside a converted 1982 Chevy step van.

The initiative of Power and Light Press, an Oregon-based letterpress studio specializing in posters, music packaging, custom stationery and inappropriate greeting cards, Moveable Type aims to spread the good work of printing the traditional way.

Kyle Durrie is currently making her way across the USA in the van, stopping along the way to tech workshops at universities, farmers markets, community centres, parties and anywhere else that people want to learn about type and printing.
