Besides a wide selection of design and art books, David Krut Projects will be featuring the work of Helder Torrao, who comes from a long line of master carpenters stretching back five generations. Of Portugese descent and a South African resident, Torrao’s essence is a combination of passionate creative genius and astounding technical ability. Rejecting disposability, he is working on a legacy of contemporary, yet functional, works of art that are built to be passed on to future generations.
