With the aim to break the boundaries between light bulb and luminary, design brand Alessi have moved into the world of lighting design by challenging three young designers to re-imagine light bulbs as objects of design.
The “Alessilux” projects tasked Giovanni Alessi Anghini, Gabriele Chiave and Frederic Gooris to turn the light bulb into an object with its own personality by using innovation shapes and new colours. In this way the light bulb becomes the main character in whichever environment it is placed.
The Alessilux was first seen at the Milan Furniture Fair last month. Foreverlamp are responsible for the production and distribution of the products, as well as the technical and manufacturing aspects.
The different designs in the range each have their own name and unique identity.
