Matali Crasset’s new project, In Vino Veritas, is about wine. Showing at the Gandy Gallery in Slovakia, the project brings together a series of glass objects around the archetypal form of the bottle. The objects are not logical, but interpretations of rituals symbolic of wine. “When in a state of drunkenness, man is expansive – saying the truth, which he could not do on an empty stomach. But wine is of his image and cannot lie either,” explains Crasset.
