Fold in half

Posted on December 18th 2010

Space is often an issue when storing a bicycle. The IF Mode Folding Bike deals with that hassle by easily folding up to half its size.

Aimed at an urban audience, the IF Mode Folding Bike conveniently folds up to half its size. Created by Ryan Carroll, Michael Lin and Mark Sanders, the bike folds in half by flipping a lever and twisting the frame, with a similar motion unfolding the bike again. The uncluttered design also makes it ideal for home and office storage. But, weighing in at around 15kg, it’s a bit heavy to carry around. The IF Mode can however be pushed around like a suitcase on wheels.
