Durban’s Bigwood heads for Berlin

After a successful show in Durban in 2008, the group graphic design and illustration exhibition Bigwood is travelling to artSPACE Berlin.


After a successful show in Durban in 2008, the group graphic design and illustration exhibition Bigwood is travelling to artSPACE Berlin from February 20 to March 21. “As Bigwood, we’re pulling together collectively to have South African talent displayed to a wider audience,” says organiser Trevor Paul. Featuring a who's who of new generation South African creatives, participating artists include Maaike Bakker, Mzwandile Buthelezi, Daniel du Plesis, Ellomennopee (Tempest van Schaik), Faith47, Mitchell Horn, Ulrike Lourens, Louis Minnaar, Christiaan Nagel, Gabriel Metcalfe, Richard Phipson, Senyol, Jenna Shone, Justin Southey, Yvette Terblanche, Ross Turpin, Wesley van Eeden and Hylton Warburton.
