Inspired by George Nelson’s Marshmallow Sofa and Casiglioni’s Sella Stool, Canadian designer Jeremy Petrus created the Mishmash Bench.

Further inspired by mash-ups (compositions created by mixing two or more prerecorded songs), Petrus’s Mishmash is something of a functional sculpture, rather than a comfortable sofa.

The result is a very sporty, bicycle saddle bench, ideal for next to the sports field.

The Mishmash Bench was created in collaboration with Italian bike saddle manufacturer Selle Royal.
